When Kravet asked Jan Showers to design her first furniture collection for them in 2016 she went back in her memory to what has inspired her over the years. Several trips to Paris and the wonderful things she has purchased for clients and her antique showroom over the years were the start to her inspiration. Jan Showers and her interior design team pulled many images of her favorite chairs, coffee tables, ottomans, drinks carts and discovered again what she loved about each piece. Of course, there are always changes and improvements made to the furniture designs and that can be challenging.  

"The Kravet team involved with the manufacturing of my collection has been incredibly creative, efficient and fun to work with," said Jan Showers. Jan's first furniture line debuted in the spring of 2016 with a total of sixteen beautifully designed pieces. Jan Showers also completed a full collection with Kravet and a nod to their Couture line --- these new designs include fabrics, rugs, lighting and wallcoverings. Showers second furniture collection launched at High Point in 2019 introducing seventeen new pieces to the collection.
